The Accessible Media Producers Database (AMP) is a free, online directory for producers of accessible formats such as braille, tactile graphics, large print, e-files and audio. Those participating in the database provide information about their areas of expertise so the public can discover the services they offer.
Use the AMP FAQ page to submit your agency listing, and to see further detailed information about registering.
If you are looking for an accessible media producer, check below where you can find search tips and descriptive keywords to help you locate the producer you need.
Please note the AMP Database is provided as a free public service, and there is not a vetting process involved in listing services. Presence in the database does not constitute an endorsement by the American Printing House for the Blind, and customers should always exercise due diligence when selecting a vendor to produce accessible materials.

Any accessible media producer, whether an individual, an agency, a nonprofit, or a for-profit company, can list their services in the AMP directory.
The directory is open to accessible media producers living or working anywhere. Currently, AMP has listings of accessible format transcribers in several foreign countries.

To look up a specific producer’s record by name (either an agency or an individual), type the name in the search box. Results can be filtered by Format, State/Territory, and/or Languages to help users narrow down their results. These results may also be displayed alphabetically (Ascending or Descending) by clicking on the letters and using the dropdown.
AMP also provides an advanced search feature that will let users combine Boolean expressions to narrow or expand options. You can search for combinations of words or phrases by selecting the correct connector word (AND, OR, NOT) in the drop-down menu to establish a relationship among search terms. Advanced search rows can be added or removed by the user. This provides users a more targeted search of key data fields in AMP and provides an additional search tool to help users find an Accessible Media Producer.
In the basic search box, you can also combine terms. The system will automatically “AND” these terms. For example, if you type “ueb nemeth spanish” in the search box, your search will bring up producers whose work covers the UEB (Unified English Braille) Code AND the Nemeth Code AND the Spanish language.

You can find agencies near you by filtering results by state. You can also search for format and the two-letter state abbreviation code (“Braille AZ”) or state name (“Braille Arizona”), or in the advanced search (Media Format: Braille AND State: AZ).
